Murasaki is Japanese for purple. The estate behind it farms a large holding in the hills east of the Napa Valley floor, well above the benchland vineyards most Napa reds are drawn from. This 2020 is a proprietary red built around Merlot, sold under the cuvee name instead of a grape name.
