Rumored to be the 4th century villa belonging to Roman poet Ausonius, Chapelle d'Ausone is located on the famously sought-after limestone plateau of Saint Emilion. Only three different families have ever handled this estate with Alan Vauthier and daughter Pauline as direct descendants of the 17th century owners being the current managers. Chapelle d'Ausone stands proudly with the five 'First Growths' of the Right Bank, and is famous for lush wines with pure fruit and distinctive minerality.
