Laboure Roi - 2022 - Laboure Roi Vire Clesse - 750 ml.

Viré-Clessé is one of Burgundy's youngest appellations, drawn in 1999 around two Mâconnais villages and written for white wine only. Labouré-Roi's 2022 is Chardonnay from these chalky slopes north of Mâcon, a corner of Burgundy that sold its wine as plain Mâcon-Villages until the new name existed.
