Marsannay is the first wine village south of Dijon and the only village appellation in Burgundy allowed to bottle red, white and rosé alike. Labouré-Roi's 2022 is the red, Pinot Noir as the Côte de Nuits expects. By local standards the appellation is young, promoted from regional status only in 1987.
