Labouré-Roi's 2022 Meursault is village-level Chardonnay from the Côte de Beaune commune that produces more white wine than any other along the slope. Nearly everything planted here is Chardonnay, rooted in marl and limestone. That concentration is why the village name became shorthand for white Burgundy on wine lists around the world.
