The Vv on the label is shorthand for vieilles vignes, old vines, and in Roussillon that generally points to Grenache planted generations ago on thin, stony ground. Bastide Miraflors sets that Grenache alongside Syrah. Lafage made the 2020 in France's far southern corner, where the season runs long, hot and reliably dry.
