Lapostolle - 2022 - Cuvee Alexandre Merlot - 750 ml.

Until 1994, a large share of what Chile sold as Merlot turned out to be Carmenere, an error a visiting French ampelographer spotted in the vineyards themselves. The two have been separated and bottled under their own names ever since. This 2022 Cuvee Alexandre bottling from Lapostolle is labeled Merlot.
