Champagne is a blending region by habit, and Grand Siècle extends the practice across years instead of parcels: several declared vintages go into the assemblage, which is why no date appears on the bottle. Laurent-Perrier launched the cuvée in the late 1950s and composes it from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
