Under the échelle des crus, the pricing scale Champagne once used to rate its villages, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger sat at 100 percent, the top rung it shares with sixteen other villages. Prestige is the name on this bottling, from the 2008 harvest. The scale no longer sets grape prices, but the Grand Cru rankings it produced still appear on labels.
