Lubanzi - 2023 - Rainboat Pet Nat - 750 ml.

Rainboat is a pet-nat, bottled before its first fermentation has finished so the carbon dioxide is trapped instead of created in a second pass. Lubanzi built the 2023 on Cinsault, a grape South African growers long called Hermitage and which crossed with Pinot Noir in 1925 to give Pinotage. Old Cinsault plantings are still scattered through the Cape's warmer districts.
