Nebbiolo is the only grape Barolo DOCG allows, and the wine cannot be released until 38 months after harvest, at least 18 of them in wood. Baudana, named on this label, is one of the delimited vineyard areas of Serralunga d'Alba, mapped when Barolo formalised its MGA system in 2010. The 2022 comes from that cru and shares its name with the producer.
