Serralunga d'Alba occupies the eastern edge of the Barolo zone, on older and more compact soils than the communes to the west. This 2022 is a commune bottling rather than a single named cru, and like every Barolo it must age 38 months before release, 18 of them in wood. Luigi Baudana's cellar has been run by the Vajra family since 2009.
