Steve MacRostie set up his namesake Sonoma winery in 1987, following more than a decade as winemaker at Hacienda, and has centered the house on Chardonnay ever since. Alongside its appellation bottlings, the winery keeps certain vineyards separate; Nightwing Vineyard is the source of this 2022.
