Primordium is the only one of César Maté's reds that uses grapes from Gumiel de Mercado,as opposed to Tubilla del Lago. Made to age, it's a plush, dense, new barrel and foudre-agedTinto Fino with lots of colour and extraction, flavours of damson and blackcurrant and a firmbackbone of tannin.
