Natter - 2022 - Sancerre Rouge - 750 ml.

Sancerre reads as a white-wine name, but this is the red side of the appellation, made from Pinot Noir. Those reds and rosés only won AOC status in 1959, more than twenty years after the whites were recognized in 1936, and they still account for a modest share of what the hillsides above the Loire produce. Natter's is from 2022.
