Pinot Noir is the leading red grape of Marlborough, a region whose reputation was built almost entirely on white wine. Otu's bottling is from the 2020 vintage. Marlborough itself splits between the broad Wairau valley and the cooler, windier Awatere to the south, a difference in ripening conditions that producers handle as two separate propositions.
