Barolo cannot legally be released until 38 months after the harvest, at least 18 of them in wood, so a 2020 reaches shelves well into the decade. Paolo Conterno bottles this one as Riva del Bric. Nebbiolo is the only grape the appellation permits, with no blending allowed at any percentage.
