Pascal Jolivet - 2023 - Sancerre Rose - 750 ml.

This Sancerre Rosé is a pale salmon pink in color with a subtly nose of fresh berries. On the palate the wine is delicate and elegant with layers of herb, strawberry and a clean, crisp finish.

Sancerre is best known for Sauvignon Blanc, but its rose and red can only be Pinot Noir; the appellation admits no other grape for those colors. Pascal Jolivet made this 2023 in the upper Loire, where white and red vines have shared the same slopes for centuries.
