Pecchenino - 2022 - San Luigi Dogliani Docg - 750 ml.

Dogliani lies in the hills south of Alba, higher and cooler than the Barolo zone, and its wines are Dolcetto and nothing else; the area was raised to DOCG in 2005. Because Dolcetto ripens weeks ahead of Nebbiolo, growers can give it the steeper, cooler exposures and hold the warm south-facing ground for the later grape. San Luigi is Pecchenino's 2022 under that denomination.
