Petrus is the legendary Pomerol estate whose wines rank among the most sought-after in all of Bordeaux. Grown on Pomerol's famous blue-clay soils, it is made almost entirely from Merlot, unusual for a wine of this standing. The 2004 vintage now carries more than two decades of bottle age.
