The 2015 Petrucci Anfiteatro is bottled under the Orcia DOC, a small denomination approved in 2000 for the valley running between Montalcino and Montepulciano. Sangiovese is the backbone its rules require. Anfiteatro names a parcel, in the hills that rise above Castiglione d'Orcia, and this is a red from that site alone.
