Two 2019 Chardonnays sit side by side under this label, Pont Marie and Pont Royal, so the white production is split into separate bottlings instead of a single blend. Chardonnay itself descends from a Pinot crossed with Gouais Blanc, an old workhorse white grape that has all but vanished from vineyards.
