Zinfandel, Italy's Primitivo and Croatia's Tribidrag turned out to be the same vine under three names, a match settled by DNA work through the 1990s and early 2000s. American labels had already been printing Zinfandel for well over a century by then. Robert Biale's Party Line is a 2023 varietal bottling of that grape.
