Rocche dei Manzoni - 2012 - Barolo DOCG Riserva Vigna Madonna Assunta - 750 ml.

Valentino Migliorini took over the property in the 1970s and built Rocche dei Manzoni around it. Standard Barolo has to age 38 months before release; put Riserva on the label and the floor rises to 62, so this 2012 spent more than five years in the cellar before it could legally be sold. The word Vigna is only allowed when all the fruit comes from the named plot, here Madonna Assunta.
