Russiz - 2022 - Cabernet Franc - 750 ml.

Friuli-Venezia Giulia is best known for its whites, but Bordeaux grapes arrived in these vineyards in the nineteenth century and never left. Cabernet Franc ripens dependably in the hills toward the Slovenian border, where the growing season runs long. Russiz bottles it alone here, red and varietally named, from the 2022 harvest.
