Most Italian Pinot Grigio now moves under the delle Venezie DOC, created in 2017 to organize the enormous volume coming out of the northeast. Hill estates work outside that framework, and Russiz Superiore's 2023 is one of those versions, grown at Capriva del Friuli in the Collio zone.
