Les Lecons, the lessons, is the cuvee name Shared Notes puts on this 2023 Sauvignon Blanc. The grape's own name traces back to sauvage, French for wild, after vines found growing untended in the southwest of the country. Its two historic homes are the Loire and Bordeaux; California growers took it up much later.
