Vidiano had nearly vanished from Crete before growers began replanting it in recent decades, and it is the grape behind this 2020 Grifos White from Silva Daskalaki. Amphora in the name points to the vessel: clay, not steel or oak. Cretan whites made this way are a small niche within an already small varietal.
