Brunello di Montalcino is Sangiovese and nothing else, Brunello being the local name for the grape, and the DOCG holds every vintage back until 1 January of the fifth year after harvest, with a minimum of two years spent in wood. For the 2020, that meant a January 2025 release. Pelagrilli is the name Siro Pacenti puts on this Brunello.
