Hannes Storm bottles his Pinot Noir parcel by parcel rather than as one cuvee, and Vrede names a specific site in the Hemel-en-Aarde hills behind Hermanus, inside South Africa's Cape South Coast region. That makes the 2022 a single-site red, grown close enough to the ocean that the fruit ripens slowly by South African standards.
