Petite Sirah, spelled Petite Syrah on this label, is the French variety Durif, a nineteenth-century crossing that dwindled at home and found lasting ground in California. Most Napa cellars keep it for small blending additions. Switchback Ridge instead gives it a varietal bottling, from the 2022 harvest.
