Barolo cannot legally be sold until 38 months after the harvest, 18 of them in wood, and nothing but Nebbiolo may be in the bottle. Terre del Barolo is a growers' cooperative pooling fruit from vineyards spread across the denomination's eleven communes, and this is its 2019. Nebbiolo ripens late in Piedmont, usually the last variety picked in October.
