Cinsault has grown in the Bekaa Valley since the mid-nineteenth century, planted by religious missions decades before Lebanon had a commercial wine trade. For most of the century that followed, it served as the country's default red grape. Terre Joie bottles it unblended in this 2019, without the Cabernet Sauvignon it usually partners in Lebanese reds.
