Two mountain ranges frame the Bekaa — Mount Lebanon to the west, the Anti-Lebanon along the Syrian border — and between them the vines see almost no rain from late spring to harvest. That long dry stretch keeps disease pressure low through the growing season. Terre Joie's 2016 Soeur de Flur, a Bordeaux-style red blend, was farmed under those conditions.
