DESCRIPTION

Ampelographers closed a long-running argument in the 1990s when DNA typing revealed Chardonnay to be a cross of Pinot Noir and Gouais Blanc, a medieval field grape so lowly it was periodically banned in France. Tether's 2022 varietal Chardonnay descends from that improbable lineage.
