Elgin sits on a high plateau behind the mountains east of Cape Town, apple country long before it was vineyard, and cool enough that Sauvignon Blanc takes its time ripening. It falls under the Cape South Coast rather than the Coastal Region districts, and this 2023 Reserve from Tokara names it on the label.
