Nebbiolo ripens late in Piedmont, picked in October once Dolcetto and Barbera are already in the cellar, which leaves every harvest exposed to whatever autumn weather arrives. Vietti bottles the 2022 Perbacco as a Langhe Nebbiolo, the regional name for the grape rather than a commune one.
