Vietti - 2024 - Roero Arneis - 750 ml.

Arneis had nearly vanished by the 1970s, down to a scattering of plantings in the Roero, before growers there rebuilt it as a white in its own right. The hills north of the Tanaro where it grows are sandier than the clay-heavy slopes on the opposite bank. Vietti's 2024 falls under Roero Arneis, a denomination raised to DOCG in the mid-2000s.
