Taylor Pass is a Villa Maria vineyard in the Awatere Valley, the cooler, drier and windier southern arm of Marlborough, separated from the Wairau by a low range of hills. The 2021 is Pinot Noir grown on that named site. Awatere fruit typically ripens later than Wairau fruit, pushing harvest deeper into autumn.
