Viñedos Paganos - 2006 - El Puntido - 750 ml.

This 25 hectare vineyard is located on a a south-facing slope at an altitude of around 580 meters and sheltered from the cold winds by the Sierra de Cantabria . The climate is Atlantic with Mediterranean and Continental influences. The variety, ‘Tempranillo’, is grown in a clay loam soil with proper porosity and water retention and nutrients. The conduction system is a bilateral cordon on a vertical shoot trellis, two spurs are left on each arm, leaving one visible bud plus the basal bud on each of them.
