Xynisteri

Vouni Panayia works out of Panagia, a village in the Paphos hills where vines sit above 1,000 metres and elevation, not sea breeze, does the cooling. Xynisteri is the island's principal white grape, and Alina is the name given to this 2020 varietal bottling. Cyprus never suffered phylloxera, so a good number of its old plots remain ungrafted.
